Grant Eligibility Guidelines and Application Instructions
Grants will be given on the combined basis of:

Scholarship need
-
Merit: based upon submitted Video (include examples of teaching and student performances)
(30 minute (total) maximum length)
Eligibility:

You must be a 501(c)3 organization
-
An Alum of The String Academy of Wisconsin or UW-Milwaukee’s String Pedagogy, Masters degree or SAW Summer Teacher workshops must be a member of your faculty.
One Grant Cycle per fiscal year.
2025-2026 year Grants are limited up to $10,000 each.
Application Process:

1. Download and complete forms for Application and Project Budget.
2. Prepare a video and upload as unlisted on YouTube.
Video requirements: Length: up to 30 minutes
To include:
a. Sample teaching
b. Performance of 3 students (various levels), and an ensemble
element (group, string orchestra, string quartet, violin choir), if
this is part of your program
3. Scan and Email Application (plus addenda) AND send Unlisted YouTube link
Application DEADLINE: May 1, 2025
ALL required materials must be submitted by May 1, 2025 (11:59 PM) to be considered.
